Japanese verbs are divided into three groups based on how they conjugate. Knowing the group is essential for forming all verb conjugations correctly.
Group 1 (ใ-verbs / Godan)
Verbs ending in ใ, ใ, ใ, ใค, ใฌ, ใถ, ใ, ใ
Formation: Stem changes based on the ใ-row sounds
Most verbs are Group 1; some ใ-ending verbs are here too

Group 2 (ใ-verbs / Ichidan)
